Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Alabama coast to near
Tampico, Mexico. Showers and thunderstorms are expected across
the eastern Gulf today in association with a pre-frontal trough. 
The front will lift as a warm front later today and linger across
the northern Gulf over the next few days. This will shift the 
focus of heavy rain and thunderstorms to the northern Gulf on Thu 
and Fri. Meanwhile, moderate to fresh winds will prevail today 
with moderate seas. Gentle to moderate winds can be expected 
tonight through Thu night, with moderate to fresh winds returning 
Fri through Sat. Conditions will improve by Sat night. Slight to 
moderate seas are also expected through most of the weekend. 

.TODAY...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S 10 to
15 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds and moderate to
rough seas are noted off the Florida coast to 71W due to an
approaching cold front. Showers and thunderstorms with frequent
lightning and gusty winds are also noted moving off the Florida
coast early this morning. As the front moves off the Florida 
coast Thu, winds will become light to gentle through Fri night.
Showers and thunderstorms will also continue along the Florida
coast through Thu night. Moderate winds and slight to moderate 
seas are expected through the weekend.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Chance of showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW after
midnight. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
